Opportunities to Serve
Serving others is one way to say thank you to God for all the many gifts we have received. Here are a few simple ways that you can help those who are in desperate need.
· Donate canned goods, diapers, toiletries and other such items to the Christian Assistance Ministry Basket and the House of Neighborly Service basket. Both are located by the sanctuary bathrooms.
· Make nonperishable lunches to give to people who come to the church for food.
· Bring women’s clothing for the Battered Women’s Shelter to the church office.
· Donate money to the pastor’s discretionary fund which is used strictly to help members and non-members pay for medications, food, utility bills or a portion of housing payments.
