OHPC Children Sponsor Presbyterian Children's Home

This year our children's offering will be given to Presbyterian Children's Home and Service(PCHAS) of San Antonio.  This wonderful mission of our deonmination serves chidlren and families who are facing a crisis such as death, divorce, illenss, violence, homelessness, alcohol/drug abuse and other situations.

The children of our church contribute about $300 a year to a selected mission project.  If you would like to help OHPC kids support this year's mission project, please write a check to OHPC with PCHAS in the memo line.

Campbell Soup Labels and Box Tops
Any time you buy a Campbell’s soup or a General Mills cereal, you could be providing school supplies, even computers, to a school in New Mexico. The Campbell Education Program is responsible for these awards. General Mills pays 10 cents for each box top. All Campbell labels qualify, not just soup, and their Fusion drink bottle tops also meet the criteria. The whole label or box top has a seal and this is what we will be collecting. The container is in the hallway by the church office and is waiting to be filled up by you. There will soon be a list for you to take home of all the products that have the appropriate seal.   Please help.

Christian Assistance Ministry - Providing School Uniforms
Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM) seeks to serve those who are struggling financially in the San Antonio area. In addition to the many services offered by CAM, each year school uniform vouchers are provided to parents so that they can purchase their children’s school clothing. Parents often line up in the early morning hours in the hopes of receiving a voucher. Given the rising cost of gasoline and groceries, it is certain that record numbers of families will be in need this year. Last summer, our congregation raised more than $1,000 for CAM’s school voucher program. If you would like to contribute to this ministry, please make your check payable to OHPC and write CAM school voucher on the memo line. Thank you for your continued support of this wonderful ministry.
