November Fellowship Schedule
November 16: Soup & salad lunch in the Fellowship Hall
November 23: Thanksgiving pie party in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a pie to the Fellowship Hall before the service then join us afterwards to enjoy those pies. We'll sell leftovers after the fun.
November 30: Advent snacks in the Narthex.
5th Sunday Offering
On Sunday, November 30, we will once again observe an OHPC tradition--our offering will go to our Capital Improvement fund. We need roof repairs now. We have leaks in the kitchen. Given the age of our building and our HVAC systems, we can't predict when we will face a new problem. Please donate as you are able on November 30.
Deck the Halls
Also on Sunday, November 30, we'll continue another wonderful OHPC tradition-- decorating our beautiful sanctuary for the Advent Season.

Silent Auction, December 13
It was such a hit last year, we're doing it again! That's right--in conjunction with our Christmas dinner, we'll be doing a Silent Auction. Donated items are due at the church by Sunday, November 30. Please include a note with the approximate cost of the item so we can publish an appropriate starting bid. Questions? Contact Peggy H.
Cookieeeee!
Join us for our first (ever?) Christmas cookie exchange after worship on December 21 (note the change from December 7). Bring your favorite cookies and sample someone else's favorite!
OHPC in Mission
The Benevolence team is seeing a greater demand for food. As Thanksgiving approaches, they would like to be able to provide HEB gift cards for the purchase of a turkey as well as holiday dinner "fixin's" such as boxed mashed potatoes and/or stuffing, canned cranberry sauce, and canned veggies. You can pass the gift cards to Peggy H or Nancy R or drop the off at the church office not later than November 18. You can deliver pantry items to the church office or put them in the cart in the narthex.
You can also donate new or gently used clothing items by placing them in the cart. Michael J will distribute them Under The Bridge on December 7.
Bible Study Returns, January 7
We're resuming our study of Jesus's parables, Wednesday, January 7, 5:45 PM, in the Church Library. Please join us for lively discussion His stories.
